  2. Windows 10 Extreme Lite

Hello all, Looking or a fast basic windows without all the stuff you don't need and only slowing the OS down i found windows 10 lite Installation: preparing a usb stick i used windows DISKPART.exe then i unpacked the iso in PeaZip and copied the files to the stick. Booting up went flawless and installing windows lite goes flawless to, (don't forget to remove the stick after installation and on reboot ) using two monitors i had a problem using them both, they worked as one monitor, but after installing the intel drivers they worked fine. The intel driver setup software relies on WMI wich is not included in the windows lite version. Unzip all files to folder and then goto system -> configuration -> update drivers and navigate to the folder you unzipped the intel drivers from here windows find yhe wright driver by itself. on the USB stick i also copied the chrome setup program and run from the stick installs the google chrome browser. in the browser i run grc.com shields-up and found Solicited TCP Packets: RECEIVED (FAILED) — As detailed in the port report below, one or more of your system's ports actively responded to our deliberate attempts to establish a connection. It is generally possible to increase your system's security by hiding it from the probes of potentially hostile hackers. Please see the details presented by the specific port links below, as well as the various resources on this site, and in our extremely helpful and active user community. Unsolicited Packets: PASSED — No Internet packets of any sort were received from your system as a side-effect of our attempts to elicit some response from any of the ports listed above. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system remained wisely silent. (Except for the fact that not all of its ports are completely stealthed as shown below.) Ping Reply: RECEIVED (FAILED) — Your system REPLIED to our Ping (ICMP Echo) requests, making it visible on the Internet. Most personal firewalls can be configured to block, drop, and ignore such ping requests in order to better hide systems from hackers. This is highly recommended since "Ping" is among the oldest and most common methods used to locate systems prior to further exploitation. i added a onbound rule to block the ICMP replies but doesn't seem to work and port 22 and 80 are closed but not stealth. Working with this lite version till now its stable and does what you expected to do. cheers.
